I had the most unique and enjoyable experience staying at a historic property in a charming Dutch village. The apartment, located within the walls of a well-preserved star fort, was beautifully converted and had so many lovely touches. The kitchen, though small, was well-equipped, and the bathroom, though compact, had everything I needed. The setting itself was picturesque, with canals and a windmill nearby. I loved the free bikes provided and the opportunity to relax outside with a table and chairs. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and easy.
I did encounter a few minor issues during my stay. I had some difficulty with communication as my email responses took quite a long time.

Quirky place by canals and a windmill. Free bikes, easy check-in/out. Loved the daylight windows and strong shower. Wonderful time cycling, boating, and sitting on the terrace. Location and apartment were great.
Sink in kitchen was not a hand wash basin, how novel!

Cozy atmosphere and separate from surrounding area. Lovely square with great Bistro nearby. Compact, quiet, quaint town with beautiful views. Pedal Power: The free bikes offered at this hidden gem were a blast! Exploring the picturesque surroundings on wheels was like being on a mini Tour de Woudrichem. Just make sure to check the tires beforehand, as one of ours had a flat that needed a little extra air.
Flat tire on bike.

My stay at this unique apartment was absolutely mind-blowing! The location in the old part of town was super cool and the setting within the well-preserved star fort was jaw-dropping. The apartment itself was beautifully converted and had all the necessary amenities, including free Wi-Fi, a fully-equipped kitchen with an electric kettle and cookware, and a cozy dining area. The bed was so comfortable, and the shower was excellent. The underfloor heating was a delightful surprise and made us feel incredibly cozy. We even had the luxury of bringing our bikes inside, which was a major plus. The host was friendly and the room was spotlessly clean. The added touches like the outdoor dining area, the nearby restaurant, the welcome drink, and the picnic area really added to the overall experience. Plus, the quick and easy express check-in/-out made the whole process a breeze. It was an unforgettable stay, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.
